From the onset, Caritronics worked on supplying companies with custom converters in varying fields: telecommunications, power, computer, biomedical, military and aerospace, designing and manufacturing small low powered ultra low noise converters that are still reliably running 50 years later.
In 1984, Richard P. Nelson joined his father's business and In 1995, he assumed leadership of Caritronics, and remains its President and CEO. Several years after Mr. Nelson assumed leadership, Caritronics began to offer RoHS compliant converters.

With a strong emphasis on R&D, Caritronics is able to continue to work with all industries. In 2019, Caritronics was thrilled to enter a new industry, developing several converters for equipment used in the Grand Opening of Disney Parks: Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.
